Race Results 2009
The second annual Suncast Palm Beach Steeplechase held on November 28th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving has proven to once again be a huge success drawing several thousand spectators. A total of Six races took place, 5 NSA sanctioned races over hurdles run clockwise at a distance of 2 1/4 miles and 1 Celebrity Race on the flat- offered a total prize money of $170,000.
The Gates opened at 10am, and spectators were treated to a variety of activities, before during and after the races which started at 1 pm on the New Palm Beach course measuring 1 mile.
